General Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Hello and welcome to our store! These terms and conditions form part of the contract of sale. They apply when you buy any goods from our website. Please save these terms for future use as they may change and we may not keep a file copy specifically for our transaction with you today.

We are legally required to remind our customers that we are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with this contract. Furthermore, nothing below affects Consumers’ legal rights in relation to goods that are not in conformity with the contract, whether because they are faulty, not as described or otherwise. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time. Please check them carefully as they will apply to any new purchases from us via this site occurring after the effective date shown.

2. Your right to cancel

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of your goods. We have extended this to twenty-one days for our customers. Please note that personalised, made to order and perishable items are excluded. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty. However, you will need to notify us if you wish to cancel your contract.

If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then you must send the goods back to our returns address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract, but we have already processed the goods for delivery, you should not unpack the goods when they arrive - instead you should send the goods back to us at our returns address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible. Please see our Returns Information page for further information.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your PayPal account, credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. You MUST send all items back in the original packaging we used to send the products out, including the packaging and bubble wrap we may have used to keep the products safe. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we will be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.

3. Minor variations in goods

We take reasonable care to ensure the representations, descriptions and dimensions of goods appearing on our product listing pages are correct. However, you acknowledge and accept that there may be minor differences between the actual goods and the way that they appear on our listing. For example, the colour tone may differ slightly or the labelling and packaging of the goods you receive may differ from the images of those which you see on the site.

4. Pricing

Our prices may change from time to time. The price for the goods you order is as stated on our product listing at the time you send us your order. If we have mispriced any item by mistake, we are not obliged to supply the item at that price provided we notify you before we despatch it. If we do notify you, then you can decide if you want to order the item at the correct price but, if you do not, we will provide a full refund of any payments already made.

Delivery charges vary according to location and the type of goods ordered. The delivery charges do not include customs or import duties (for orders outside of the EU) which may be applied to your order by the relevant authorities. We have no control of these and it is your separate responsibility to pay for them. We recommend that you check with your local customs office in advance. Further information can be found on our Delivery Information page.

5. Submitting an order

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order plus any delivery charges before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in the order form. Your acceptance of these terms and conditions and our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract of sale between us.

All orders are subjected to acceptance and availability. If any goods are unavailable, we will notify you of the unavailability as soon as possible and will arrange for you to be refunded in full if you have been charged.

6. Delivery

We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate as we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with the information you provide (unless this is caused by our negligence).

Please note that unless otherwise stated, delivery dates given on our website are estimates only. If you receive notification of an unsuccessful attempted delivery, it is your responsibility to use the details provided to contact the delivery company to arrange re-delivery.

Our postage rates are subsidised and we charge a £5 restocking fee if your item can not be delivered or is not collected from your local delivery office and returned to us. This fee helps offset the costs associated with packaging and sending the items to you, any additional postage fees associated with the return, and any affiliate fees that have been paid. If your item is not collected and returned to us, you will be refunded the full amount minus any postage fees and the restocking fee.

7a. Non delivery of goods

If you do not receive your order within 14 days, we will have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing of the problem within 30 days of the date you placed your order. When notifying us of a missing order you will be asked to confirm that you are happy for us to launch a full investigation on your behalf. This includes the sharing of your order details and the information you provide with our delivery partners and your local policing team.

Investigations usually take 72 hours, but can take up to 14 days in exceptional circumstances. The process usually involves a review of the tracking information and any dashcam images or sound recordings available. There will be a review of the services in your local area and your local delivery person may be interviewed or asked to complete a failed delivery report. Please note that you may be contacted by our delivery partners or your local policing team for further information as part of the process.

Please be aware that a fraudulent claim can have serious consequences. You may be prosecuted for theft and fraud, and receive a prison sentence or fine. We will always support our partners with a prosecution should it come to our attention that a fraudulent claim has been made.

If you notify us of a missing order, we will do all we can to locate your parcel and put things right for you. We will make good any shortage or refund you as soon as initial investigations confirm that your parcel cannot be located.

7b. Non delivery of goods or delays due to Royal Mail Strike Action, Extreme Weather, Black Friday Weekend or Covid 19 Restrictions

Please note that deliveries can take longer than the timescales provided in extenuating circumstances i.e. in the event of strike action, localised covid restrictions/delivery staff shortages, or extreme weather. Orders placed over Black Friday weekend may also take longer to arrive due to the shear number of parcels entering the Royal Mail network. We kindly ask that you take this into consideration when purchasing from our store.

The majority of our orders arrive in good time, however please note that these types of delays are out of our control. We are unable to provide a refund for delayed items until the parcel has been declared missing by Royal Mail or one of our other delivery partners. We will of course do all we can to trace the parcel for you, and will arrange a prompt refund as soon as we are able to make an insurance claim for the delayed or missing parcel on your behalf.

8. Protecting your privacy

We respect your privacy and will treat all your personal information as confidential. We promise not to sell, disclose or distribute information about you as an individual other than for the sole interest of administering your order and ensuring that we provide the very best service to you. All information is stored on a secure server and we respect the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We only use your personal information under the following circumstances: i. to administer your account and for this purpose we may disclose your details to our third party service providers/ suppliers for the sole purpose of processing and fulfilling your order; ii. contact you if there are any problems with your order; iii. to further administer our website and it contents for the purpose of improving your shopping experience with us; vi. with your consent, to notify you of products, special offers or events that may be of interest.

Further information including our use of cookies be found in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our right to cancel

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order prior to delivery. Examples of when we might do so include: where products you have ordered are out of stock; where we have made an error in the description or pricing of any products you have ordered; if we do not deliver to or are unable to deliver to your address that you have specified at a reasonable cost; and where there is sufficient evidence to suggest a potential fraud issue. If we decline or cancel an order we will refund all amounts paid in respect of that order.
